The face of laughter of Candace represents a life of transformation, resiliency and a new character exemplified by STRENGTH. Candace never thought she would laugh again, but her story shows how reinvention is possible at any stage of life, if you are willing to run the race, learn the lesson, and keep moving forward, despite the challenges.

Candace’s story has led to a passion to help women recognize unhealthy patterns in relationships, set healthy boundaries, understand their worth and rise above their challenges. Candace believes that her own personal story of navigating through a dysfunctional marriage, filled with infidelity and eventually domestic violence, has given her the tools to help women discover their purpose and lead confident, successful lives. Candace is the face of persistence and fortitude, as she persevered while going through a divorce, becoming a single mother, working four jobs and battling health concerns. During this time Candace earned a second master’s degree with highest honors, began a new and thriving career, and began her doctoral degree. Candace believes that the sky is the limit and no matter what life brings, with God, all things are possible. It was not about existing; it was about building a new life.

Candace redefined the status quo and views her success as a platform to uplift others, especially women who feel like life is not worth living. Candace knows the struggle and is driven to create a space for women to be heard, validated and begin their healing journey. Through her work, Candace shows that success is possible as her journey shows how resilience and purpose can create something very beautiful and fulfilling.
